Scottish Base for Landlords’ Group

Scotland’s private landlords are set to benefit from the establishment of a new unit north of the Border that aims to help them deal with the sector’s evolving legal landscape.
The National Landlords Association, which covers 14,000 individual UK landlords, has officially launched its Scottish arm.

Jim Parker, the chairman of NLA Scotland, promised the operation would have its own identity.

“However, a key strength will be that it is part of a UK-wide trade body that represents landlords across the country at national, regional and European level,” he added.

David Salusbury, chairman of the NLA, said: “The NLA is the largest association of its kind in the UK and we will now be offering an increasing number of services to our Scottish landlord members.”
